Canadian Liberal Party Supports Local Food

Michael Ingatieff, leader of the Canadian Liberal Party, announced yesterday that the Liberal Party has developed Canada's first National Food Policy. One of the five areas for action is healthy living, which includes an $80-million Buy Local Fund to promote farmer's markets and home-grown foods.
