Fresh Radius Inc. was founded in 2009. We saw the growing focus on local foods and eating local, and recognized the need for a unified global resource to provide useful information to consumers, and to promote and develop local economies.

Henning Geiler

Henning Geiler is the owner of Pinpoint Graphics, a Canadian website development firm located in Wasaga Beach, a beautiful town on Lake Huron's Georgian Bay. Pinpoint Graphics was founded in January of 2002 and since then has served a large number of customers with custom designed websites and database driven web applications. Henning is the chief developer of Site.DFiner, a server-side content management system, enabling businesses and organizations to update their own websites.

Henning Geiler was born and raised in Braunschweig, Germany and graduated as a mechanical engineer, Dipl.-Ing. (FH), in the field of building supply and automation technology. Before moving to Canada, Henning worked as vice president for an HVAC contractor and later as an independent consulting engineer.

Growing up in Europe, Henning was used to buying fresh food on the local farmer markets and to yummy home cooked seasonal dishes. Henning's mission is to help promote a healthier and environmentally friendlier lifestyle which in turn will greatly contribute to the reduction of childhood obesity and the modern western lifestyle epidemics such as type 2 diabetes and heart disease.

Henning is actively involved in his community, serving on the Board of Directors of the Wasaga Beach Chamber of Commerce, two years as their president. As a member and past president of the Rotary Club of Wasaga Beach, Henning has supported local and international community development projects.

Tobey Deys

With an eclectic background in photography, sales & marketing, Tobey Deys is a lover of smart thoughts, snowboarder crazy for diamonds and powder, gourmet gourmand, rider of horses & road bikes, and Social Media junkie. After university (many moons ago), she waded into the advertising industry, honing her skills in traffic and production. Responsible for managing the photography for large projects, she was able to follow her love of images to launch her own business, managing photographers and producing ads, editorial shoots, and annual reports. Tobey has since relocated to bucolic Wellington County, with a home in Guelph and a few fields in Erin Township.

Tobey considers herself a 'vague-aterian', loving the myriad of plant-based foods that promote excellent health and occasionally enjoying local & ethically raised animal products. Experimenting in the kitchen with tastes, spices, textures and combinations is a favourite pasttime of hers. One of the joys of living in her almost-rural community is the vast and immediate access to locally-grown food and locally-made products. Fresh Radius is an exciting project and Tobey is thrilled to have the opportunity to share the best local products!

A little tidbit: She is the only Tobey Deys on this planet ~ it doesn't make her special, it's just true.

Keith Rideout, Rideout Software Development - IT Partner

Keith Rideout is our technology wizard. He took our vision and brought it to life. Keith is a graduate of Herzing College in Toronto and a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) as well as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE). He is a seasoned Apache, PHP, AJAX and MySQL developer and an excellent Unix systems administrator.

If you can't find Keith slinging code on his laptop in one of the many coffee shops along posh Yonge Street, you will see him rollerblading the urban canyons of downtown Toronto. He is always ready to flip open his notebook and connect to the strongest WiFi router in the neighbourhood.
